On the third night of the 2016 TABtouch Inter Dominion Championships the Gloucester Park racebook covers featured Clinton Hall driving a harness racing horse carrying saddlecloth number two.
At yesterday’s barrier draw function for the $1.1 million dollar final of the TABtouch Inter Dominion this Friday night owner Steve Chapman drew barrier number two for his current star Run Oneover which will be driven by Clinton Hall.
Chapman’s association with trainer Gary Hall and driver Clinton Hall brought earlier Group One success with dual WA Pacing Cup winner My Hard Copy which won the State’s biggest race in 2015 and 2016 for the trio.
The links between Run Oneover and My Hard Copy go further however with Run Oneover’s grand-dam Nuclear Atom being a half-sister to Readallaboutit – the dam of My Hard Copy. Both Readallaboutit and Run Oneover’s dam Presidential Belle are daughters of Presidential Ball.
Clinton Hall also won the 2014 WA Pacing Cup with Hokonui Ben which coincidentally carried saddlecloth number two when it led throughout to beat Toretto and This Time Dylan.
