Smart five-year-old gelding Rakasinc is proving a fine advertisement for his sire Changeover in Western Australia.

The former Enzedder won twice in the space of six days including a convincing end to end triumph at Gloucester Park last Friday night (September 11) in a new lifetime harness racing mark of 1:55.6, and has now won nine races this season.

Loch Ness Franco NZ, a four-year-old daughter of Changeover, scored by 20 metres at her first start on Australian soil at Hobart on Sunday night (September 13) and looks set to rapidly progress through the grades in Tasmania.

Top three-year-old Yianni maintained his devastating form by crushing older rivals at Bendigo at a 1:56.7 rating over 2150 metres with the last 800 in 56.2. The gelding has won five out of eight this term.

A pair of fast winners by Changeover recently were Our Friend NZ, a winner in 1:55.2 at Albion Park, and Kash Us Back (1:55.3, Bathurst). The latter has won nine races this season and 13 lifetime.

Changeover was also represented by the five-year-old mare Been To Jenny’s, a winner on the grass track at Methven, New Zealand on Sunday (September 13).

Changeover is now standing at Burwood Stud on Queensland’s Darling Downs for the modest fee of $1,650 including GST.
