At Cabourg was the Quinte+ Prix Henri Balliere (purse €36,000, 2750 meters, 16 starters) on a summer festival evening with a superb audience. 5.4/1 Baby Haufor (6g Ganymede-Newly Haufor) scored impressively on the front end with Charles J. Bigeon aboard. The trainer is Christian Bigeon, also breeder and owner. 14/1 Battant (6m Jasmin de Flore-Melusine Jiel) was second for owner/trainer/driver Stephane Bourlia. Third was 7.4/1 Blind Faith (6f Prince d’Espace-Kindliness) for Yoann Lebourgeois. Race time was 1.13.5kr.

At Biarritz was the featured Grand Prix Dynavera Maisagri (purse €45,000, 2950 meters, 12 starters). The 1.9/1 favorite Breland du Vivier (6m Joker de Rozoy) was victorious timed in 1.16.74kr with Jerome Chavatte aboard. Twist Lie (10g Indy de Vive-Fiesole de Mareuil) was second at 7.2/1 and third was 22/1 Univers de Suce (9g Hugo de Mai-Kiva de Suce).
On Thursday July 27 was the Prix Aix en Provence at Enghien for the monte trotters raced by 12 starters over 2250 meters for a purse of €50,000. The 1.14.3kr timed victorious trotter was 21.2/1 Cook Star (5m Look de Star-Originalite) with P-Y Verva in the irons for trainer and breeder Sebastien Guarato. Caravella (5f Quaro-Pania de Joudes) took the second spot for jockey Alexandre Abrivard and trainer L.Cl. Abrivard. Home third was Disco des Moland (4g Quitos du Mexqar-Quiche des Moland) teamed with Eric Raffin.
On Wednesday (July 26) the Q+ and Enghien featured Prix du Medoc (purse €65,000, 2875 meters, 17 starters) went to 1.14.7kr timed and 7.8/1 Big Headache (7g EL Mikko-Southwind Roselle) reined by Philippe Dauguard, also trainer, for FI owner Timo Hulkkonen.
