France action today started with the Grand Prix du Nord 5 Year Olds at LaCroise Laroche.

In this 2825 meter distance handicap test, ten starters battled for the 40,000€ purse. The 7/10 favorite Dream de Lasserie (5g Orlando Vici-Rumbu Venoir) scored for trainer/driver Romain Derieux and Ecurie Daidou. This one scored for the 13th time in a 34 race career, now for 163,050€ earned.

The 13/1 Darlington Park (5g Orlando Vici) was second ahead of 32/1 Dilemme Angele (5g Royal Dream). Race time was 1.14.6kr with the first two finishers overcoming 25 meter handicaps.

This evening in the Paris-Vincennes action was the Quinte+ Prix Barbara (purse 48,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 18 starters) and 8.6/1 odds Akir de Mai (8g Kid de Chenu-Morina Rose) scored timed in 1.14.2kr for Anthony Barrier.

He bested 1.6/1 Brosses Troubadour (7g Showtime Bourbon) with J-M Bazire up for owner/trainer J.Ph. Ducher. 11/1 Bon Grain Tivoli (7g Gros Grain) landed third for owner/trainer/driver Damien Bonne. The last two in the Q+ exact order was 40/1 Abercrombis and 21/1 Bella du Vivier. The Q+ exact order 2 euro ticket paid 9,605.60€.
