The Cagnes sur Mer winter meet continues and today was the Prix Fan Idole (purse 36,000€, 2700 meters autostart, 16 starters).
12.7/1 outsider Antoine du Bourg (9g Oyonnax-Pin Up du Bourg) scored with Christophe Martens aboard, timed in 1.13.64kr. It was his 11th career win in 85 starts, now for 261,575€ earned.
7.2 Bise du Coglais (8f Prince Gede) was second handled by L.G. Richard for trainer Romuald Mourice, and third went to 4/1 Baileyse (8f Opus Viervil).

The card also included the Prix Mister Lucker (purse 29,000€, 2925 meters, eight starters) and the 1.14.79 timed winner was 2.2/1 odds Do It Again (6g Singalo-New Creation) with Pierre Vercruysse up for trainer Arnold J. Mollema and owner Draviet Stables.

Cagnes sur Mer will be on the radar screen next Sunday as it features the Criterium of Speed.
The race usually attracts some of the better International sprinters currently racing and this year Bold Eagle and Readly Express are rumored to be starters.
