In this first major two year-old event of the year, the winner had previously won a qualifyimg race June 27.
Ude Szepe (2f Beissinger Hanover-Jolly Beauty-Valley Guardian) finished a close second for Imre Fazekas, also off a June 27 qualifier.
Universal Boy (2m Maximus Lindy-Golden Lady-Endless Sands) was third after closing stoutly off a July 4 qualifying victory.
The top two were the first to race in Hungary by Beissinger Hanover, a 14 year-old stallion by Self Possessed-Beat The Wheel-Defiant Yankee, that was exported from US to Italy in 2004 after posting a 5-5-2 slate in 22 starts for US$169,574 and a speed mark of 3, 1:56.1.
Beissinger won the Dexter Cup and then placed in two graded events in Italy at age four.
The Otevesek Nagydija (purse 3Huf million, 3000 meters autostart) was the day’s feature with Rocket Boy (5g Wall Street Banker-Elegant Lady-Mill H) home first for trainer/driver Imre Fazekas.
The winner scored in 1.19.8kr with a strong stretch surge and was bred by Kabala Menes.

The Kincsem Park undercard also included several fine events.
