Federico Esposito teamed this Alessandro Gocciadoro trainee to a four length victory. Bleff Dipa (3m Mister JP-Preziosa JW-Let’s Go) was second for reinsman Roberto Vecchione, trainer Holger Ehlert and Jean Pierre Barjon. Far back third was Bonneville Gifont (3f Varenne-Fedora Caf–Indro Park) for Antonio Velotti and trainer Ehlert. Wild West Diamant and Bristol CR completed the top five.
In the batterias (eliminations) the first went to Bubble Effe (3m Nesta Effe-New York Effe-Cantab Hall) timed in 1.12.2kr for reinsman Gocciadoro. He was a narrow winner over Bleff Dipa (3m Mister JP) with Roberto Vecchione up. Third about six lengths back was Bolero Gar (3m Varenne-Nike Gar-Windsong’s Legacy) handled by Pietro Gubellini. The purse was 22,000€ and the race distance was 1600 meters autostart.
The second batteria (purse 22,000€, 1600 meters autostart) saw Bepi Bi (3m Donato Hanover-Lorraine Bi-Lemon Dra) home the winner in 1.11.8kr with Alessandro Gocciadoro up, Bepi was strong here and in the finale. Three lengths back in this batteria was Balsamine Font (3f Filipp Roc-Issima OK-Pine Chip) handled by Santo Mollo, with third to Bonneville Gifont (3f Varenne) with Antonio Velotti up.
