Friday’s Quinte+ was the Cagnes sur Mer contested Prix d’Olargues (purse 32,000£, 2925 meters, 18 starters) and it went to 1.13.kr timed Elsa de Belfonds (5f Tornado Bello-Taifa) with trainer Nicolas Ensch driving for owner Thomas Levesque. Elsa scored for the seventh time in 27 appearances now for life earnings of 208,040£.

The 16/1 Americo Vespucci (9g Niky) took second for Steve Stefano with third to 41/1 Bella du Vivier (8f Korean) handled by A.A. Chavatte. The 11/1 Ekiango de Nile (5g Olimede) with Anthony Muidebled up and 6.4/1 Eclat de Gloire, with trainer Loris Garcia up, completed the exact order top five, the Quinte+, that paid 19,797.20£ for the 2£ wager. The Q+ pool totaled 3,689,659£.

The CSM featured Prix Jules Roucayrol (purse 49,000£, 2925 meters, 13 starters) saw the veteran and 4.8/1 odds Balbir (8g Ganymede-Manzir) rally to victory for trainer/driver Mickael Cormy and owner Ecurie du Vieux Chene. Race time was 1.14kr and the winner now has 28 career wins for 655,230£ earned.

The 4.6/1 Tinamo Jet (7m Naglo) rallied for second with Franck Nivard up for trainer Franck Leblanc. 1.7/1 favorite Elvis du Vallon (5m Reve de Beylev) was third in a photo for trainer/driver Nicolas Ensch. 3.2/1 Bolt (8m Prince Gede) with teamster Junior Guelpa and 11/1 Deimos Racing (6g Quite Easy) with Enrico Bellei up completed the top five.

Friday evening trots were also at Wolvega with their feature race being the Prix le Cheval d’Or (purse 11,000£, 2600 meters, ten starters). The 1.1.2kr timed victory went to 3/1 odds Out Of The Slums (7g Muscles Yankee-Sugar) and pilot Michael Nimczyk. 39/1 outsider Ennyus Boko (8g Virgill Boko-Valencia Boko) took second for Mme. Caroline Aalbers, the owner/trainer/driver. The 9/10 favorite Thai Investment (10g Broadway Hall) was third for driver Jaap Van Rijn and trainer H.A.J. Grift.
