Monday’s harness racing trotting action at Enghien showcased the Quinte+ Prix du Pont des Arts (purse 44,000€, 2150 meters, 16 European starters). 2.9/1 second choice Cristal du Perche (6g Roi du Coq-Hotesca) scored timed in 1.12.7kr for driver David Thomain.

The 7.2/1 Onceforall Face (7g Viking Kronos-Lemon Soda OM) took second for Pierre Vercruysse, trainer Jeppe Juel and Team Juel. 10/1 Too Hot For You (6f Scarlet Knight-Vasterbofromheaven) was third for driver Franck Ouvrie.

The 6/1 Ready For More (8g Ready Cash-B.Glorious) and 5/1 Eldrick Boko (7m Cantab Hall-Radiant Lindy) completed the top five, with the exact order payoff at 848.80€ for a 2€ play,

The monte Prix de Mauron (purse 42,000€, 2875 meters, 13 starters, apprentice jockeys) saw 8.7/1 odds Best Of Bourbon (7g Ready Cash-Herba Bourbon-And Arifant-Cartinoa) score with easy handled by Mlle. Mathilde Collet. Stephane Rochais trains the winner for Ecurie Nice Nasach, Best Of Bourbon’s third straight victory and fourth in his last five outings.

Second went to 1.1/1 favorite Cutty Sark (6g Baccarat du Pont-Sursum Corda) with Arthur Rebecke in the irons for trainer J.P. Piton. Third was 10/1 Bistrot (7g L’As de Viretaute-Pablita) for jockey Pierre Thieulent and owner/trainer Thierry Devouassaux.

Two year olds contested the Prix du Haut Rhin (purse 35,000€, 2150 meters autostart, eight starters) with the 1.17.7kr timed victory to 3.1/1 odds Grandissimo (2m Brillantissime-Bahama Wood) with breeder/owner Jean Pierre Dubois driving. Yves Boireau trains this youngster. The 4/5 favorite Grisbi du Persil (2m Niky) took second for driver Eric Raffin, ahead of 12/1 Granit du Choquel (2m Prodigiois).
