July 6, 2017 – On Thursday at Halmstad (SWE) was the classic Sprintermaster for harness racing four year-olds, with three eliminations each for 125,000SEK to those winners, and a final with 977,000SEK to that winner. Each heat was raced over 1609 meters autostart.
The final went to 1.10kr timed and 2.9/1 Diamanten (4m Adrian Chip-Iata Kall-Ata Star L) that scored for Christoffer Eriksson driving for Robert Bergh, trainer for Forspro HB. The Bergh trained and teamed Muscle Hustle (4m Muscle Mass-Crown Laurel-Cantab Hall) was second ahead of Electric Light (4m Going Kronos-USA Hornline-Giant Hit) and his trainer/driver Peter Untersteiner. Makethemark was sixth in the final after winning an elim and Paul The Apostle was fifth after a second place finish in elimination two.
The elims began with 1.5/1 Diamanten (4m Adrian Chip-Iata Kall-Ata Star L) taking the first timed in 1.10.4kr for trainer/driver Robert Bergh. Racing Mange (4m Orlando Vici-Kara Kickan-Alf Palema) was second for trainer/driver Joakim Lovgren.
The second elimination went to 2.2/1 Rajesh Face (4m Raja Mirchi-Nippy Girl-Ginger Somolli) for driver/trainer Lutfi Kolgjini and owner Tommy Nilsson Holdings AB. Paul The Apostle (4g Pastor Stephen-Blue Drop Sund-Sugarcane Hanover) was second here for Orjan Kihlstrom and trainer Daniel Reden in the 1.10.9kr timed event.
Elimination three went to 3.1/1 Makethemark (4m Maharajah-Global Naughty-Conway Hall) timed in 1.10.7kr for Ulf Ohlsson driving for Petri Salmela. Electric Light was second for Peter Untersteiner and Muscle Hustle was third.
Earlier in the program was the Elite Sprinter for amateur reinsman, over 1640 meters autostart for 50,000SEK to the winner. The 2.7/1 winner, timed in 1.11.3kr, was Niagara Broline (7g Pine Chip-Malabar Mist-Malabar Man) driven by Peter Arnqvist for trainer Johan Untersteiner.
