Trotting action at Enghien

Enghien-Soicy hosted this day’s upper level harness racing trots in France led by the Prix du Pont de Granelle (monte apprentice lad jockeys, purse 52,000€, 2250 meters, European eligibles).

The 8.5/1 odds East River (7f Soleil d’Enter - Perle Fine) scored easily in 1.12.3kr for Guillaume Lanain, trainer Christophe Clin and owner Pierre Georges Veugeois). This was her 13th career victory now for 248,070€ earned.

The 1.8/1 favorite Esta Bueno (7g Quaro - Rolga Dorma) was second for Bastien Joseph with 4.2/1 Solcio Zi (10g Oiseau de Feux) third for jockey Thomas Rallier.

East River

The Prix de Pont d’Lena (purse 50,000€, 2875 meters, European fine year olds) was also on the program and it was a competitive event.

The 2.6/1 odds Giant Chief (5m Un Mec d’Heripre - Quick Scarlet) was the 1.14.2kr timed winner handled by Franck Nivard for trainer Philippe Billard and Ecurie le Tremont. The winner recorded his third straight victory and seventh in his career now for 154,350€ earned.

The 5.9/1 Galon de Vire (5g Laetenter Diem - Victorie de Vire) earned second for Mathieu Mottier and third went to 35/1 Juan Bros (5m Muscle Mass - Ziezo Buitenzorg) piloted for Pierre Levesque for trainer Billard nd owner Tramonton Srl.
