48/1 Undset (10g Ksar d’Algot) took second for Nicolas Ensch, ahead of 12/1 Vivre la Nuit (8f Prodigious) driven by Y-A Briand. 12/1 Alpha Jet Jego and 5.6/1 Rodin completed the top five, the latter driven by G.P. Minnucci.
On the Cagnes sur Mer undercard was the Prix de Stockholm (purse €60,000, 2925 meters, 13 European starters) and 3/5 favorite Cavalleria (6f Prodigious-Janga) scored for Nicolas Ensch, also the trainer for Ecurie Castagniccia.
Race time was 1.13.8kr for the now €405,120 career earner.
7.8/1 Cirrus Atout (6g Look de Star-Ire du Ciel) was a distant second driven by Gabriel Gelormini. Third went to 9/1 Tell Me No Lies (9g Offshore Dream-B.Glorious) reined by David Bekaert.
