October 16, 2016 – Swedishman (10g Gogo-Volgana) took today’s Grand Prix de Gelsenkirchen (purse €50,000, 2600 meters autostart, 10 International starters) in Germany, driven for harness racing trainer Thierry Duvaldestin by Clement Duvaldestin and clocked in 1.14.7kr.
The 9/10 favorite, owned by breeder Gaylor Chaudemanche, started from post six and defeated 6.2/1 Solea Rivelliere (10f Calife des Noues-Heloa Rivelliere)with trainer Philippe Daugeard driving for breeder/owner Jean Claude Robert Lucas.
Third was 5.1/1 Sierra Leone (10f John Arifant-Une d’Havetot) with J.Cl. Hallais up, he also breeder/owner for trainer J.W. Hallais.. Athos des Elfes and Un Nuage d’Osmoz were next to the line for their reinsman Joseph Verbeeck and Emmanuel Allard.
The veteran Swedishman now has 29 wins in 87 starts for earnings of €1,059,155.
