Paris-Vincennes’ Prix Eunyke (purse €41,000, 2100 meters autostart, eight entrants) on Tuesday went to 2.9/1 Douceur de Vivre (3f Rocklyn-Resless) with Jean-Philippe Dubois driving. The Philippe Moulin trainee was bred by Dubois and is campaigned by Ecurie Victoria Dreams. The easy winner was clocked in 1.15.1kr to defeat 13.1/ Diva des Marceaux (3f Ready Cash-Oriane Jolie) with Pierre Vercruysse up. Third was 44/1 Dame d’Yvel (3f Uniclove-Mitchea) that Gabriel Gelormini piloted for owner/trainer M-J Rualt.
The June 21 Paris-Vincennes program, included the Prix Echo (purse €37,000, 2850 meters, 12 starters) with the 1.15.4kr timed victory to 9/10 favorite Diego du Guelier (3m Kepler-Ophelie La Garenne) with Mathieu Mottier up for owner/trainer Denise Mottier. 11.4/1 Dusty Wood (3m Goetmels Wood-Oramgette) held well on the pegs to be second for Jean-Philippe Dubois, trainer/owner Louis Baudron and breeder Etiennette Dubois. Third went to 19.6/1 Diams de Bassiere (3m Ganymede-Menthe Fraiche) for reinsman Sylvain Roger.
