Race tine was 1.12.4kr. 73.4/1 Capraio (5g Coktail Jet-Une de Bussy) was a solid second for Franck Ouvrie and Ecurie Rhythm & Blues. Third went to 5.6/1 Vasterbo Hand (5m Ready Cash-Super Pilaar) with Eric Raffin driving for trainer Bjorn Goop and SZ Consulting AB.
The evenings Quinte+ race was named the Prix le Parisien (purse €60,000, 2850 meters) and this event was race timed in 1.13.7kr by the winning 10.4/1 Valfluery (8g Memphis du Rib-Idague) in rein to Clement Duvaldestin for trainer Thierry Duvaldestin, 7.6/1 Astral Viretaute (7g Kalahari) took second for David Thomain and 1.7/1 favorite Alamo du Goutier (7g Quido du Goutier-Opa de Tourelle) was third on the line. The exact order payoff was €3,960 for a €2 play.
The Prix Gordonia (monte, Gr. III, purse €82,000, 2850 meters, 10 European starters) went to very impressive, hard rallying 16/1 Vittorio de Carly (8g Quaro-Gamine des Sarts) with jocky Guillaume Martin aboard for trainer Arnaud Desmottes. Race time was 1.12.9kr with quick final fractions after the field was clocked at 1.13.8kr with 1000 meters remaining in the contest. 1.8/1 Alpha Saltor (7m Paris Haufor-Glory d’Ariane) was a game second for Eric Raffin and 9.4/1 Ulka des Champs (9f Offshore Dream-Melissa des Champs) took third. Favorite Arlington Dream and Alienor de Godrel were misque dq’s, the former off on a wild gallop early.
