DOVER, Del. —With consecutive prelim wins, Chipoffthewall, leased and trained by Syl King, is the one to beat in the $100,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) Male Trot Final while Sweet Bobbie and American Truth head the $15,500 Fillies and Mares pace on the Tuesday, Nov. 24 card at Dover Downs. Chipoffthewall, after being disqualified from first last month in the $100,000 DSBF Final at Harrington. Has rebounded with a pair of decisive victories in his two prelims in November. Tony Morgan will drive the race-favorite black gelding. Jane Dunavant's homebred Virginia stakes champion, Elton J, showed his class rallying after being passed to win his prelim last Tuesday. Chris Yochim's Mondello, handled by Art Stafford Jr., has been a sharp second in his last two, but must overcome starting from post 8.
Politicised gets driver Tim Tetrick after a just-missed second a week ago. Owner- trainer Bob Shahan and Don Marine's Bosston Malibu, who romped in last month's consolation, starts from post 1 with Allan Davis driving. Seafood Scrappy and Ross Wolfenden shows four thirds in his seven 2015 races for Seafood Delight and J,J&M Stable. Jim Morand will pilot Deborah Warnick's Popcorn Machine, a prelim winner two weeks ago and Bill Hall and trainer Brian Wright's Chrome Master, reined by Eddie Dennis, complete the starting line-up.
The rest of the program spotlights filly and mare paces. A $15,500 3,4&5-Year-Old distaff pace tops the regular program. Gary Ewing's Sweet Bobbie (Corey Callahan), JFE Enterprise and Triple D Stable's American Truth and Bob Bailey's Duneside Chella ,fresh from a 10-lengths 1:52.1 win last time, lead a field of nine starters. Also, there is a $14,000 distaff Winners-Over semi-feature featuring JFE Enterprise's Handsoffmycookie (Tony Morgan) and Foulk Stables' Valerya (Callahan), both winners last time out.
The final 2015 DSBF $100,000 title is on the line Wednesday highlighting the top Delaware-sired two-year-old filly pacers.
Prayer Session and Spunky Jack lead nine in the Wednesday feature, $21,000 Open/Handicap trot, on the regular card.
There is no live racing on Thursday as horsemen enjoy the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.
Monday through Thursday racing starts at 4:30 p.m. No live racing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Simulcasting of harness and thoroughbred racing is available daily from 12 Noon until 12 Midnight.
