Top driver Blair Orange combines with several Michael House runners in the pick six

Tonight the harness racing pick six at Forbury Park is terminating and guaranteed to $75,000.

The large open fields on offer and the chance of rain for the night will ensure selecting the winning combination will not be easy.

Top driver Blair Orange who tends to be very domanint around the Forbury track will hold the key in several of the Pick Six legs when he again combines with trainer Michael House on a number of runners.

Leg 1     Race 5 [7:20pm]

4yo mare Opal is the top chance in this race after two second placed finishes at her last two starts. She draws handily in barrier 2 and is currently a short priced favorite to win the race. Delight Of Texas is an interesting runner who debuts for the Michael house stable after transferring from John Versteeg. A good beginner from the stand and with Orange in the sulky she is definitely needed in the first leg. The other runner we like is Winsomechange who held on well for third last start after looking the winner on the turn. Winsomechange has drawn a handy marble of barrier 4.

Leg 2     Race 6 [7:45pm]

Leg two is the Rating 40 to R80 trot over 2700m and the runner in form is Imran Khan. The 2700m is a concern as is the 20m handicap, but he does step well and has improved markedly at his previous few starts so top pick for us. Former Breeders Crown winner Renezmae is out of form but in her prime would likely be too smart for this field. She is needed along with the other back markers King Cassidy and Nottingham K Two. If the budget allows Miss Bamboocha would be another who will be improved and she gets a headstart on the favoured runners from the 10m handicap.

Leg 3     Race 7 [8:10pm]

A tricky leg of pick six here with the leading chance Alexy drawn out a bit further than he was when he won here last week. Blair Orange is in the cart again and he does have gate speed so could get across them early. First Son is drawn wide also but he is our second pick. He ran home well from a long way back to get second to Alexy last week in a similar field. Dismara was unlucky last week and has a better draw here and Rosinupthebow drops in grade for this race so include as well.

Leg 4     Race 8 [8:35pm]

The fourth leg sees a hot favourite in Jungle Gem. She is racing well and if she can land handy to the speed in this field for regular driver Kim Butt she would probably be too good and a possible anchor in the Pick Six. American Mac would be the other runner you would have to consider depending on budget.

Leg 5     Race 9 [9:03pm]

This leg is a bit of a minefield over the standing 2200m. The start is crucial and horses getting back in the field will struggle to get into the race if the speed is strong. Thatboyz Toys will appreciate the stand as will Hurricane Banner and Groomsmen so include but as stated, take as many as the budget will allow as it is a very open race.

Leg 6     Race 10 [9:29pm]

The final leg is also an even go and there are a number of chances again. The Maroon Marauder is our top selection and Matthew Willamson will take the drive. He is tough and will be put into the race at some stage. Art Courage is racing well and Blair Orange on so has to be included. Loma Jaccka and Hannity also chances from their good draws.

Suggested Pick Six   ($48.00 for 10%)

Leg 1     1,2,4

Leg 2     4,8,9,10,11

Leg 3     3,6,8,10

Leg 4     6

Leg 5     1,2,6,10

Leg 6     2,5,6,7
