Pompano Beach, FL – Pompano patrons were unable to solve a difficult Pick 4 sequence on Monday evening in South Florida, which has a resulted in a hefty $6,260 carryover into the Wednesday night card. Track officials have placed a $25,000 guarantee on the total pool.
The Pick 4 is a nightly wager covering races 5 – 8, featuring a 50-cent minimum and only a 12% takeout.
The Jackpot Hi-Five continues to gain steam as well, with the carryover up to a record $150,058. The carryover narrowly escaped the Monday night festivities, with only two winning tickets out despite the four heavy favorites finishing first, second, fourth, and fifth. River Rising (Dave Ingraham) finished third in the finale at odds of 97-1. The 20-cent consolation payout was worth $2,684.
The final Monday night card of the season will be offered this Monday (April 27) at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, with live racing continuing on Wednesday and Saturday evenings through closing day, June 27th. First post each evening is 7:30 p.m.
