Harness racing and rugby league celebrities got their hair shaved for a great reason at Alexandra Park last Friday night (Friday March 4). The cause was child cancer and the evening dubbed 'Night of Courage' was organised by the Auckland Trotting Club.
Several horsemen and league stars - including former Australia, Queensland, Canterbury Bulldog and Warriors rep Steve Price - had their heads shaved for the cause in the Tasman Room at Alexandra Park.
Horseman who had their locks taken off included David Butcher and his son Zac, Simon Lawson, and David Branch. They raised thousands of dollars for Child Cancer.
Well done everyione involved!
