The last 2 year old pacing filly Atlantic Sire Stakes takes place at Northside Downs this Saturday September 19, 2020. Twelve harness racing fillies will battle in two divisions of 6 and will face off for a purse of $9,620.
Race two has JJ Talisa (Redmond Doucett) leaving from post 2. JJ Talisa sits at top of the point leader board with 19 points. Little Miss Ava (Myles Heffernan Sr) and Somebodys Me ( Mark Pezzarello) round out the top three picks. Race 6 is the second division of two year old fillies with favorite Tobins Brownie (David Dowling) leaving from post 6. Tobins Brownie sits fourth on the Points leader board. The Real McCoy ( Marc Campbell) and Elm Grove Penny are the other top two picks.
This is the fillies last Atlantic Sires stake race to earn points towards the Atlantic Breeders Crown Weekend. Points earned in each Atlantic Sires 'A' division pacing event go towards earning a spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships which takes place October 10 and 11, 2020 at Red Shores Charlottetown.
First race post time at Northside Downs is 1pm.
