Fighter Smart upsets the field at 25-1

Fighter Smart (4m Uniclove-Vicky Cash) took this day’s Quinte+ Prix de Picardie at Vincennes (purse 53,000€, 2850 meters, 14 starters) clocked in 1.13.7. Mathieu Mottier piloted this 25/1 outsider owned by breeder Ecurie Smart to his fourth career win, now for 244,520€ earned. 

The 20/1 Fun Quick (4m Carpe Diem) rallied for second with Alexandre Abrivard up and 7.7/1 Fresneaux (4m Timoko) held third for Christophe Martens.

The 10/1 Fuego du Houelle (4g Rieussec) and 3.4/1 Foxtrot Sea (4m Olitro) completed the top five and set up an exact order Q+ payoff of 45,859.20€ for a 2€ wager. The Q+ pool was 2,618,606€ and the total of all wagering pools on this race exceeded 5,824,000€.

The 21/1 Ekiango de Nile (5g Olimede) held second for Matthieu Abrivard and 14/1 Ecurevil Jenilou (5g Village Mystic) was third for pilot Alexandre Abrivard.
