January 25, 2016 – 28 of the world’s best aged trotters have been engaged to the January 31 Prix d’Amerique. Bold Eagle seeks to follow his sire Ready Cash, the 2011-2012 Amerique winner, as the Eagle comes into the big race off an easy win the Belgique and will likely be an overwhelming harness racing favorite.
Up And Quick, the 2015 winner, will race barefoot and hopes to improve off a lackluster winter meet performance to-date.
Timoko will likely continue his consistent performance along with Lionel, Akim du Cap Vert and outsiders Bird Parker and Support Justice.
