The Prix Louis Couchors (Gr. III, 50,000€ purse, 2200 meters, two-year old males) began the groupe action this day at the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes and the 5/10 favorite Ideal Ligneries (2m Repeat Love-Ouragame) scored impressively in 1.15.7kr for reinsman Franck Nivard.

Ecurie de Tremont owns the winner and Philippe Billard is the trainer. She remains unbeaten in five starts now for 72.450€ earned. 3.2/1 Igui Danica (2m Boccador de Simm-Sellina Blue) was second with Eric Raffin up for Ecurie Normandy Spirit and trainer Philippe Allaire. Third home was 38/1 Invincible de Bry (2m Bold Eagle-Trade) for trainer/driver Romain Derieux and owner Mauricette DeSousa.

Ideal Ligneries

The Prix Marcel Dejean (Gr. III, 50,000€ purse, 2200 meters, two-year old females) saw 1.3/1 odds It’s Now Or Never (2f Charly du Noyer-Deep Purple) score in 1.16.2kr with Yoann Lebourgeois at the lines for breeder/trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Gitte Poulsen-Allaire.

She now has a 3-2-0 slate in five appearances for 62,350€ earned. The 2.1/1 odds Italienne (2f Goetmals Wood-Doceanide) was second with David Thomain teaming for trainer Allaire and owner Kevin Tebirent and breeder Marvin Tebirent. 21/1 Ile Aux Moines (2f Cristal Money-Myssia de Lou) took third with Benoit Robin up.

It’s Now Or Never

The Prix Pierre Van Troyen (Gr. III, purse 70,000€, 2850 meters, 4-5 year olds) went to Feydeau Seven (5m Redeo Josselyn-Unanime Seven) at 2.1/1 odds and timed in 1.12.4kr. Nicolas Bazire was the pilot for trainer Jean Michel Bazire and owner Alexandre Skowronski as Feydeau won his 11th in a career that has earned now 270,510€.

This was also the 100th career driving victory for Nicolas in 792 starts. 8.2/1 odds Fun Quick (5m Carpe Diem-Activity Quick) was second, handled by Matthieu Abrivard for Ecurie Quick Star and trainer Maik Esper. Third was Favorite Fligny (5f Rockfeller Center-Africa Fligny) for J.G. Van Eeckhaute.
