Saturday night's (December 3) MH Treuer Memorial harness racing meeting at Bankstown has been given a significant boost with the announcement of a BIG6 jackpot. The jackpot of nearly $11,000 will help kick-start the pool which will be held on races 3- 8 on the program.

First leg is set to go at 7:18pm.

The BIG6 could be a BIG5 with Washakie a hot favourite to make it three straight Treuer Memorials. The race is the fourth leg of the BIG6.

In other jackpot news for the week, Wenty Park’s card on Friday night sees a BIG6 jackpot of just over $5,400 jump into the pool.

It will be conducted between races 4-9 with leg 1 set to go at 8:18pm.

RULE NUMBER ONE HOPING TO GO ONE BETTER

The Number One Club’s in-form stable galloper, Rule Number One, will be out to go one better than his previous start when he lines up at Kembla Grange this Saturday.

Trainer John O’Shea has nominated the four-year-old for a Class 2 Handicap over 1600 metres.

Rule Number One was a fast-finishing second at Goulburn last Friday week and will be looking to add to the Number One Club stable’s impressive prizemoney returns to owners for a day.

Everytime one of the stable hit the track, five Number One Club members are chosen to be its owner for a day, with some of the benefits including pocketing any prizemoney won.

To date the stable has returned over $140,000 to Number One Club members that have been owners for a day.
