Astute Romsey harness racing trainer Leigh Miles was responsible for a brilliant training performance in producing 6-Y-0 D M Dilinger/Miss Philpotts gelding Run Floyd Run to land the Cranbourne Trainers Bonanza for C2 & C3 class over 2080 metres at Cranbourne on Wednesday January 19, when having his first outing since August 2009.

Taking a concession for likable Josh Duggan who works for Chris Alford, Run Floyd Run was restrained from gate six to settle three back along the markers, with the pacemaker being the polemarker The Delirama.

Scorching home along the sprint lane, Run Floyd Run blew his rivals away in recording a 4.7 metre victory in advance of the favourite Asafa Powell which raced in the open, with Incoming Flight third for Romsey's Paul Green after following the leader and moving away from the markers on turning.

The mile rate 2-01.2.

Kilmore trainer Tony Peacock loves going to Cranbourne and chalked up a stable double there, Awaywiththefaries taking the Wise Choice Fine Foods Pace for C1 class over 2080 metres and Lord Lombo the 1st Heat of the Country Clubs Championship for C4 & C5 class over the same distance, both driven to perfection as usual by Damian Wilson.

South Australian Oaks winner Awaywiththefaries (Mach Three/Tact Pearl) led for the majority of the journey from gate three in defeating Travtiano along the sprint lane from three back the markers and Detroit City which trailed the winner after leading out. The mile rate 2-02.6.

Blissful Hall/Lady Lara Lombo 4-Y-0 entire Lord Lombo has been a revelation for the stable, chalking up his 10th success in 42 outings.

Moving forward three wide solo from three back in the moving line in the final circuit after being restrained from gate four, Lord Lombo ran home stylishly in accounting for Pocket Boy along the sprint lane after trailing the pacemaker Miss Winfrey, with Golden Grinder third from last after trailing the winner home.

The mile rate 1-59.7.
