Alcoy scored in 1.14.9kr as he was off at 2,2/1 odds for his tenth career victory, now for 498,410€ in life earnings. 3/1 odds Elsa de Belfonds (7f Tornado Bello-Taifa) was second with trainer Nicolas Ensch up, racing with shoes, for owner Ecurie Thomas Levesque. 9/1 Dreambreaker (8g Offshore Dream-Brooke Boko) was third with Gabriele Gelormini up for trainer Jean Michel Bazire.
Alcoy
On February 25 at Vincennes was the Prix du Cantal (purse 50,000€, 2850 meters distance handicap, European six to eight year-olds). The 1.14.3kr timed winner was 25 meter handicapped and 6.4/1 odds Wild Love (7f Love You-Twins Vilda) handled by Alexis Prat for trainer Anders Lindqvist. This was her first victory in France and increased her life earnings to 273,915€. The 27/1 odds and 25-meter handicapped Equinoxe Jiel (7m Rancho Gede-Themis Jiel) was second for Gabriele Gelormini and trainer J.L. Dersoir. Third home was 10/1 odds Ribaude (8g Conny Nobell-Yessie Hornline) with Benoit Robin up for trainer Bjorn Goop.
