Franck Anne steered his trainee Alienor de Godrel (4f Orlando Vici-Julietta) to victory in tonight’s €90,000 Gr. III Prix Pierre Van Troyen at Paris-Vincennes.

The 2850 meter contest drew 11 horses with the 1.8/1 favorite prevailing timed in 1.14.3kr. Ecurie AB Trot owns the winner. Second choice (2.4/1) Anette du Mirel (4f Laetenter Diem-Lisa du Mirel) was second for Eric Raffin, trainer Anders Lindqvist and owner Mlle. A. Holmgren ahead of Adelie (4f Ganymede-Linea Dream) at 78/1 for Alexandre Abrivard.

Two year-olds battled in the Prix Louis Cauchois, a Gr. III event for €80,000 over 2200 meters autostart. Seven contested this one with Caid Griff (2m Password-Savanne Griff) scoring in 1.17.9kr for Eric Raffin and trainer Sebastian Guarato and owner Ecurie Griff.

Off at 3.3/1 the winner defeated Consul Madrik (2m Quitas du Mexique-Kiss Me de Trevert) handled by trainer/owner Franck Anne. Coup Droit (2m Prodigious-Saint Leonard) was third for Robin Bakker and trainer Paul Hagoort.

The Gr. III €68,000 Prix Gisella for three year-olds brought out 10 starters in this 2850 meter affair. Timed in 1.16kr the winner was Bazazet (3m Qwerty-Perkine) for owner/trainer/driver Jacques Bruneau. Sired by Qwerty, a Pierre Levesque trained international competitor, the 5.7/1 odds winner defeated 22/1 Bolero des Vignes (3m Quai Bourbon-Poesie du Bouffey) for Alain Laurent, also trainer/owner. Franck Ouvrie teamed Berry Felin (3m Nahar de Breval-Krisma des Buis) to a third place finish.

This day in Sweden (Orebro), the 100,000SEK first money Najos Minne for four year-olds over 2100 meters autostart, went to Call Me Keeper (4m Pine Chip-Eliza Keeper-Credit Winner) with Daniel Reden up.

The 1.13.3kr winner recorded victory 10 in 17 starts to defeat for Peter Haughton winner Aperfectyankee (4m Yankee Glide-Asixpakfromperfect-Windsong’s Legacy) and Jim Oscarsson. Lady Broadway (4f Broadway Hall-Lady SJ-SJ’s Photo) was third for Jorma Kontio ahead of Frisky Magic (4f Kadabra-Frisky Fergi-Garland Lobell) with Kenneth Haugstad up. Corky was fifth for Erik Adielsson as his form has tailed off recently.

Earlier in the week (October 22) at Solvalla Delicious (5f Cantab Hall-Ipsara LB-Lemon Dra) scored for Daniel Reden in 1.11kr. The former Ron Gurfein trainee in the US recorded her 13th win in 35 career starts.  The 1640 meter autostart contest victory secured 100,000SEK first money. M.T. Harmony and Xena Brick trailed the winner. At Aby the improving Fourteen Karat (4g Crazed-Southwind Diamond-Mr. Lavec) scored for Bo Falsig, also trainer, in 1.16.4kr for his sixth career win in 13 starts to earn 30,000SEK. Graceman was a close second for reinsman Peter Edberg.
