After a week's break to host the harness racing C.K.G. Billings competition, the amateurs will be back in gear, ready to storm the track and trot on to victory. Former race winners Mark Jones and Kelly Walker will return to action, trying to add notches to their lines, and five other hopefuls will join them in race five on Monday, June 27 at Hazel Park.

Jones will leave from the three hole with his winning Classic Spur, and Walker will drive Hot Potato from the six hole.

Both drivers have shown their stuff in winning form, but some keen-eyed competitors have their own eyes on the prize: Driver Jeff Pickvet will pilot his own trotter Mylittlej from the lucky rail spot, and be followed out by Bob Barella, with Hallway To Heaven, from the two hole.

Patricia Miller will steer her own trotter Hay Look Out from the four hole, and Mike Sweeney will drive Headed For Glory from the five hole. But watch out all, Smokin Steven will be puffing away to take the field, with Steve Oldford driving from the seven hole.

Another exciting race will unfold as the gate releases an excited group of trotters, driven by an excited group of amateur racers. It's sure to be fun and hotly contested on yet another warm summer evening at Hazel Park.
