Timed in 1.15.8kr the winner defeated 9.1/1 Vision Fromentro (7g Ganymede-Princesse Natacha) with Dominik Locqueneux driving for Ecurie Anders Van Dapperen HB and trainer Jorgen Westholm. 45/1 Al Capone (6g Jade Bocain-Carica de Mareuil) landed third for Mathieu Abrivard.
Also at Enghien was the Prix du Palais Royal (purse €68,000, 2875 meters, 16 starters) with the win earned by 1.14.8kr timed and 3.1/1 odds Ceylan Dairpet (4g Ouragan de Celland-Rosy MIP). Yoann Lebourgeois teamed the barefoot winner for trainer Tony LeBeller and Ecurie Daidou. 10.4/1 Citizen Kane (4g Orlando Vici-Queen of Viking) was second for breeder/owner Pierre Levesque and trainer/driver Thomas Levesque. Third went to 17/1 Colorado Blue (4g Que Je T’aime-Star de Gueron) for Adrian Lamy and trainer Bruno Marie.
On Saturday at Romme SWE was the Gold Division American Trot (150,000SEK to the winner, 1640 meters autostart). The 1.11.2kr timed winner was 1.6/1 Volstead (5m Cantab Hall-Madame Volo-Yankee Glide) with Orjan Kihlstrom driving for Stall TZ. Arden Homestead Stable was co-breeder of the winner. 3/1 Coldtown finished second for Jorma Kontio and third was 4/1 Thai Broadway with Bjorn Goop up. French Laundry was unplaced.
