HRV Stewards have issued several charges against licensed Victorian trainer Andrew Vozlic under Australian Rule of Harness Racing (ARHR) 259 (1) (a) which provides:
A disqualified person or a person whose name appears in the current list of disqualifications published or adopted by a recognised harness racing authority or a person warned off cannot do any of the following –
- associate with persons connected to the harness racing industry for purposes relating to that industry.
These and other charges for Mr Vozlic will be heard by the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be fixed.
HRV Stewards have been conducting an investigation into Mr Vozlic in relation to him allegedly carrying out farrier duties for approximately eight months whilst a disqualified licensed person to licensed harness trainers in the Mildura and Ouyen regions.
As part of this investigation, HRV Integrity Department have interviewed many licensed trainers in the Mildura and Ouyen area in relation to their association with Mr Vozlic who has allegedly been performing farrier duties for them.
This investigation in relation to those licensed trainers is still on-going with other licensed Victorian trainers still to be interviewed as further examination of mobile phones is currently being conducted.
HRV Integrity Department are expecting to complete those inquiries in the very near future.

Except with the consent of the Controlling Body a person shall not associate for purposes relating to the harness racing industry with a disqualified person or a person whose name appears in the current list of disqualifications published or adopted by a recognised harness racing authority.
The charges will be heard by the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be fixed.
