Today’s excellent late afternoon Paris-Vincennes program was highlighted by two Gr. III harness racing events for three year olds.
The males battled in the Prix de Faulquemont (Gr. III purse 70,000€, 2700 meters, 11 starters) with victory earned by 32/1 Aramis Bar (3m Napoleon Bar-Guendelina Bar), his third win along with two second place finished in six appearances.
Filippo Rocca was the pilot for trainer Fausto Barelli and owner Luigi Truccone in the 1.14.9kr timed event. 3.9/1 Galactic (3m Oh James-Amilka) was second with Matthieu Abrivard up for trainer Jacques Bruneau. 18/1 Get Happy (3m Bird Parker-Rasta Perrine) took the third check with J.Ph. Monclin up for trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Elisabeth Allaire. The 1.7/1 favorite Gamin des Perdrit was a dq.
The fillies competed in the Prix Fama (Gr. III, purse 70,000€, 2700 meters, nine starters) with the 1.16kr timed victory to 3/1 Gaia Olmendorf (3f Ready Cash-Valerie Oldeson) with Christophe Martens aboard for trainer Vincent Martens and Ecurie Olmendorf, the breeder/owner.

12/1 Grande de Ranchy (3f Sancho Turgon) took second driven by Matthieu Abrivard for owner/trainer Emmanuel Varin. 21/1 Girl des Mottes (3f Very Nice Marceaux) was third for Charles Dreux. Gemme de Bussett (3f Brillantissime) and Arquana As (3f Chapter Seven) completed the top five. The Love You filly and 1.2/1 favorite Gazelle du Corta was a dq.
The veteran monte performers took part of the Prix Iclea (purse 42,000€, 2850 meters, 13 starters, apprentice jockeys) saw 2/1 Best Of Bourbon (8g Ready Cash-Herba Bourbon-And Arifant) score impressively by four lengths timed in 1.13.5kr with Mathilde Collet in the irons.
He repeated a previous victory at Enghien for trainer Vincent Jarry and Ecurie Nice Nasach, the winners’ ninth career victory now for 126,690€ earned.
SARL Haras Saint Martin bred Best Of Bourbon that is a son of the 488,957€ winning Herba Bourbon. 22/1 Coeur de Dompie (7g Roc Meslois) was second with Clara Jacob the jockey for trainer Mickael Cormy. 16/1 Crack D’Ariane (7g Paris Haufor) was third with Samy Djeson Jarden up for trainer Daniel Bethouart.
