Tonight's final session of the 2014 Prix d'Amerique Arqana Trot Mixed Sale ended on an exciting high level as the average gained 22.4% over last year at 34,101 euro. 119 lots were offered and 69 sold (58%), down slightly from the 2013 level of 65%. Aggregate sales (before post sale private transactions) reached 2,353,000 euro, up 31.9% from 2013. The final session was devoted to horses in training and there were some solid prospects led by Al Capone Jet that yielded 310,000 euro (US$ 423,925).

For the three days combined, aggregate sales totaled 3,318,200 euro, an average of 20,110 euro, up from prior year average of 17,726 euro and aggregate 2,942,500 euro. This year 267 lots were consigned with 165 selling (61.6%) versus last year's 258 consigned lots with 166 selling (64.3%).
