The last 3 year old harness racing pacing colt and filly Atlantic Sire Stakes races takes place at Inverness Raceway this Sunday September 20, 2020.
Two Divisions of 6 fillies go behind the gate in Races 6 and 8 for a purse of $10,000. Race 6 will has Woodmere Skyroller (Dale Spence) trying to keep her spot at top of the Point standings. Rounding out the top three is Tobins Choice (Gilles Barrieau) and Elm Grove Ocean ( Redmond Doucet).
The second Division of A fillies go in race 8 with the favorite Red Dirt Star ( Gilles Barrieau) having rail control, the other top 2 picks are Bellafornow (Clair MacDonald) and Saulsbrook Ocean (Dale Spence)
One A Division of 3 year old colts race for a purse of $18,100 in Race 8. Favorite Woodmere Rollnpop ( Clair MacDonad) leaves from post one with Mr Kelly (Adam Merner) and Tobins Rebel (Gilles Barrieau) listed as the other top 2 contenders. Point leader Windemere Ryan has post 8.
There is one B Division for each, the colts (Race 4) and fillies (Race 2).
Sundays race is the last opportunity for the colts and fillies to earn points towards the Atlantic Breeders Crown Weekend. Points earned in each Atlantic Sires 'A' division pacing event go towards earning a spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships which takes place October 10 and 11, 2020 at Red Shores Charlottetown.
First race post time at Inverness Raceway is 1pm.
