Aubrion de Gers was an easy winner once again, this time in the Gr. I International Grand Prix de Wallonie

Today’s Gr. I International Grand Prix de Wallonie (purse 180,000 euro, 2300 meters autostart, nine starters) was an easy victory for 5/10 favorite Aubrion du Gers (8g Memphis du Rib-J’Arrive du Gers) handled by Joseph Verbeeck for owner/trainer Jean-Michel Bazire.

The veteran winner now has career earnings of 1,827,772 euro. 9/1 Billie de Montfort (7f Jasmin de Flore-Quismy de Montfort) rallied for second with Rick Ebbinge driving for trainer Sebastien Guarato and breeder/owner Philippe Dauphin.

The 24/1 Ultimate du Rib (10g Dahir de Prelong-Kara Pellois) took third for Gert Sucaet and trainer Christophe de Groote, ahead of 65/1 Truman Dairpet (11g Biesolo-Heloise Poterie) driven by Piet Van Pollaert and trainer Gerald Van Pollaert. 2/1 Uza Josselyn was a dq and Amiral Sacha was scratched.
