The 2013 Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale will be conducted by Davidson Cameron & Co Dubbo Pty Ltd at 11am next Sunday at the Bathurst Showground. The sale is an integral part of the annual Bathurst Gold Crown harness racing carnival and has been the nursery of numerous 'black type' winners. One hundred and forty-six top quality lots will go under the hammer by 46 different sires.

There’s stock by the established sires Art Major, Courage Under Fire, Village Jasper, Modern Art, Live Or Die, Four Starzzz Shark, Badlands Hanover, Grinfromeartoear, Armbro Operative, Tinted Cloud and Aces N Sevens and exciting newcomers Sportswriter, Shadow Play, Always A Virgin, Passmaster Hanover, Million Dollar Cam, Tell All, Changeover and Flightpath.

Almost two-thirds of the lots catalogued are out of race-winning mares, while 58 percent are out of winner-producers.

The list of top class racemares includes Group or metropolitan winning mares In A Whisper, Lady Titian Lombo, As It Is In Heaven, Ezy Lady, Macrandra, Ambre Solaire, Sunvale, Kyallarama, Set To Shine and Ciara.

While the catalogue comprises siblings to smart performers such as Howard Ino, That’s Mister Ali, Lockton Loaded, Ethon Sun, Farmersntradies, Indicative, Enjays Cam, Ballbarboy, Bella Jam Jam, Greenmans Valley, Mad Mel, Enjoythegoodtimes, Rigatoni, Wotattitude, Sahara Miss and Treuative.

ll yearlings nominated for the sale will be eligible for the Sales Graduate races with $14,000 finals for two-year-old colts and fillies at Bathurst in February/March 2014.

They are also eligible for the Breeders Crown, NSW Breeders Challenge, NSW Breeders Bonus, Bathurst Gold Crown and Tiara, Vicbred, QLD Bred and The Lombo.
