The veteran winner was teamed with Manuel Dupelin, driving for owner/trainer Corinne Gleize.
Race time over the heavy turfground was 1.23.2kr. Vlatou des Salines (9g Magnificent Rodney-Griffe des Salines) was a game second for Christophe Moise, driving for owner/trainer J.L. Langeron.
Langeron piloted stablemate Usly de Visais (10g Defi d’Aunou-Pristina Jet) home third after this trio raced three across throughout the final bend, before Bavarois pulled clear.
