4/5 favorite and 25 meter handicapped Brissac (6m Ni Ho Ped d’Ombree-Jannibelle) was second for owner/trainer/driver Jean-Alain Eliphe. 29/1 Univers Solaire (9g Lutin Malin-Interaction) was third for Anthony Barrier ahead of 25 meter penalized and 71/1 Buffalo de Beylev (6m Memphis du Rib-Rafale du Plessis) reined by trainer Nicolas Ensch. 100/1 Aribo Mix was fifth for Cominil Cordeau.
Ursa Major, Bon Copain, Tiger Danover and Tagada Tagada were well beaten in this field.
Sunday’s trotting action in France was distributed across numerous venues, some on the turf. One such spot was Jallais and its Prix Miss Hippodrome France (purse €20,000, 2975 meters distance handicap). This competitive affair was just that from the start with victory earned by Ami Toon’s (7g Keed Tivoli-Indiavola Francjac) with Maxime Bezier up, also owner/trainer. 25 meter penalized Already Wic (7m Ready Cash-Epona Vinn) was next home for Eric Audebert driving.
