November 25, 2016 - The Q+ Prix Arietis (purse €55,000, 2850 meters, 16 starters) went to 1.13.2kr timed and 5/2 odds Baxter du Klau (3g Oiseau de Feux-Imia Josselyn). J-M Bazire, the leading FR dash winning driver year to date, piloted this winner for harness racing trainer J-M Baudouin, over the petite piste and with even fractions (1.14.1kr at the 1000 meters to go mark, 1.13.6kr at the 500). 4.1/1 Bering (5g Sam Bourbon-Nigolla) was second for Christophe Martens and 67/1 Butler (4m Ready Cash-Odyssee d’Isques) was a fast closing third for Bjorn Goop and breeder/owner/trainer Anders Lindqvist. Christian Bigeon was fourth with his Be Bop Haufor (5g Notre Haufor-Ica Haufor).

The Prix Arsinoe (purse €22,000, 2850 meters, 16 starters, claiming, apprentice drivers) began the evening card with victory to 1.16.2kr clocked Ange Gardien Juan (6g Ludo de Castelle-Noetmalie). Charley Heslouin teamed the winner for breeder/owner Mme. Francoise Poupart. Bibi Dairpet (5g Qualypso Jiel)and Alma de Rib (6f Magnificent Rodney) were home second and third in a blanket finish.

On the past weekend, interesting action took place at Bergsaker where 2/1 Casanova Sisu (4m Dewycheatumnhowe-Suzie Sunshibe-Donerail) scored driven by Daniel Wajesten in the Stayerlopp over 3160 meters. Timed in 1.16.6kr the seve- time winner in 32 starts earned 50,000SEK with the victory. 8/1 Serious Try (5g Crazed-Miss Volo-Yankee Glide) was second for Henrik Svensson ahead of 6/1 Expecttheunexpected.

On November 19 on the V75 card at Bjerke featured the Kai Eriksens V75 Gold for 146,730SEK first money. The 2100 meter contest went to 1.13kr timed and 5.6/1 odds Nahar (11g Love You-Mahonny Broline-Joie de Vie) with trainer Robert Bergh up for Stall Sedin. Nahar now has 42 wins in 133 starts for earnings of 12,932.189SEK, after recently winning a Preferred test in Toronto. 8.6/1 Fire To The Rain (5g Yankee Glide-Adelaide Hall) was second for Orjan Kihlstrom and 31/1 Winmecredit (9g Credit Winner-Lamitech Dancing) was third for Frode Hamre. Thai Broadway and Call Me Hanover landed the next two spots.

Trainer Jerry Riordan captured the other co-features on the card. 1.4/1 Treasure Kronos (4f Raja Mirchi-Glide About) with Christoffer Ereiksson up won the Axel Jansens Minne Finale clocked in 1.11.7kr over 1609 meters. This one is owned by David Goodrow and Jeffrey Snyder of Toronto and New York and has now recorded seven wins in 19 starts for 2,659,180SEK earned. 8.5/1 Gematria (4f Explosive Matter-Ginevre) was second for Frode Hamre ans third was 43/1 Thai Goodwill (4f Muscle Hill-Bether Gluys) for Markus Teien Gundersen. TheAxel Jensens Mini for colts, also over 1609 meters for 293,460SEK first money, went to 1.11.5kr timed and 3.9/1 Twister Bi (4m Varenne-Lorraine Bi-Lemon Dra). Eriksson also drive this Riordan trainee, owned by Pasquale Ciccarelli. 1.4/1 favorite Cruzado dela Nioche (4m Muscle Massive-Alidade-Credit Winner) was second with Bjorn Goop up for Stall Courant and trainer Stefan Melander. Riordan’s Tango Negro (4m Infinitif-Lisetta Real-Lemon Dra) was third for owner Graziano Ceccaroni.
