Beckman won the Prix de Saint James today at Vincennes

Today's European Prix de Saint James (2100 meters autostart, 75,000 euro purse) went to favored Beckman (6g Turbo Sund-Nins Palema) handled by Franck Nivard. The Fabrice Souloy trained, Ecurie Commander owned invader traveled the course in 1.13.2kr to defeat Souloy stablemate Nephenta Lux (6f Pine Chip-Miss Camelia OM) owned in Italy by Mme. Osti. Tornade du Digeon (6f Jag de Bellouet-Herland du Terme) secured third for trainer/driver J-M Bazire.

The Prix de Pondurat (2100 meters autostart, 36,000 euro purse, three year-old females) produced a victory for another favorite as A Great Lady (3f Password-Joyce Lady) scored in 1.16.2kr. Julien Dubois was the reinsman for Ecurie Victoria Dreams and trainer Philippe Moulin as she won over Apocalypse Now (3f Mister President-Persiana) with Nicholas Roussel aboard. Third went to Alote de la Cote (3f Quaker Jet-Kelite Jet) for trainer/driver Pierre Vercruysse in a three-way battle to the line

At Kincsem Park in Budapest, Hungary the weekly open class event, today named the Jen Dij over 1800 meters autostart, carried a purse of 500,000HUf. A solid group of eight went postward led by recently well performing Orifiamma Jet, Poetica SAF and Jegyzono. Poetica SAF (4f Frullino Jet-Augusta Bi) emerged with the victory in 1.17kr for Tibor Hajnal, trainer/driver. She defeated Orifiamma Jet (5f Supergill-Ticket To Ride) by 1-1/2 lengths, that mare with Sandor Varadi up,and Orangyal (5f Wall Street Banker-Derengo) ended third for driver Pal Vicen over Jegyzono (10f Valley Guradian-Atletano).

Kincsem Park announced its annual New Year's Eve racing, entertainment and awards gala that annually packs the house with up to 10,000 fans, irrespective of the weather, for the afternoon and early evening card. The following link to the advertising spot illustrates the excitement:
