December 28, 2015 - David Thomain teamed 27/1 Vida du Vivier (6f Jeanbat du Vivier-Numiva du Vivier) to victory in Monday’s Prix de Neuville Pont-Pierre (purse €48,000, 2700 meters, 17 starters, Quinte+) at Paris-Vincennes. The 1.14.5kr winner defeated 3.8/1 Valentine’s Day (6f Carpe Diem-Heie du Bauvatier) for trainer/driver G. Houel and third finishing 4.6/1 Valse du Pirai (6f Essaim Laurent-Kesmeralda) for Michel Lenoir and owner/trainer G-A Lachemi.

The featured €70,000 Prix de Beaumont-de-Lomagne (2175 meters, 10 monte female starters) went to the Mathieu Abrivard trained and ridden Bellissima France at 3.2/1 odds. This four year-old daughter of Blue Dream-Quanta Rosa Sun-Kiwi scored in 1.13.1kr for owner L.D.M Abrivard. Second dam of the winner is Kantara Sun by Beautiful Somolli. 2.1/1 Bixenta du Gers (4f Quinoa du Gers-Seventy Seven) took second for Alexandre Abrivard aboard for owner/trainer J-M Bazire. 31/1 Baraka du Rib (4f Coktail Jet-Ornatis) was third for jockey J.L. Cl. Dersoir, trainer Joel Hallais and Ecurie Rib.

The €52,000 Prix de Chambord (2100 meters autostart, 14 starters) went to the 1.13.1kr timed, 3/2 favorite After River (5f Quaker Jet-Oguss de la Merite) reined by Eric Raffin for trainer Sebastien Guarato. 14/1 Alexane d’Urzy (5f Coktail Jet-Oree Bourbon) was a good second for Alexandre Abrivard, trainer L.Cl. Abrivard and Augustin Normand. 94/1 Ariane d’Arry (5f Oyonnax-Pensee d’Array) landed third.

Three year-old females contested the €54,000 Prix du Merlerault (2100 meters autostart, 12 participants) with that 1.14.2kr victory earned by 12.5/1 Castafiore (3f Jag de Bellouet-Nicia du Tija) and driver F-P Brossuet, trainer J-B Bossuet and Ecurie Tenor. 4.1/1 Comtesse du Chene (3f Quaker Jet-Imperiale du Chene) closed stoutly for second for Pierre Vercruysse and third went  to 21/1 Class Petteviere (3f Repeat Love-Noce Petteviniere).
