Van Eeckhaute for harness racing breeder/owner Jacques Lepeudry. The 4/5 favorite Aprion (7g Nahar de Beval-Idole Verte) was second for J.Ph. Monclin and third went to 6.8/1 Arthuro Boy (7m Le Retour-Guyane) with Yves Dreux up, also trainer/owner/breeder. 17/1 Une Serenade and 12.3/1 Ambassadeur d’Am were the next two on the line.
Today’s Prix 120 Ars Voissn (purse €28,000, 2850 meters, 15 European starters) was won by 5.6/1 Withma (8f CR Excalibur-Arnie’s Dam E) reined by Gabriel Gelormini for Jorgen Westholm, trainer for the owner Lent LCF Stedts. 5.3/1 Amitie d’Orgeres (7f Defo d’Aunou-Passion d’Orgeres) took second and 5.3/1 Hankypanky Pagan (8f Love You-Pion) was home third for Matthieu Abrivard, also for trainer Westholm and owner Ulf Lundqvist.
Vincennes’ Prix Dorophea (purse €60,000, 2850 meters, 10 starters) went to 10/1 Dalencia (4f Perlando-Olencia) racing barefoot for Dominik Locqueneux for Ch. De Broote and owner BVBA Lierca de Groote. 14.8/1 Dubai Union (4f Love You-Irina du Bourg) and pilot Gabriel Gelormini was second ahead of 38.2/1 Delicatesse (4f Mercenaire-Thalie Dhaumoniere) and driver Alexandre Abrivard. The winners’ time was 1.14.2kr.
Also yesterday at Paris-Vincennes was the Prix Atlas (purse €60,000, 2100 meters autostart, 10 starters) and the 1.14.5kr timed winner was 14.9/1 Ecre Nouvelle (3f Love You-Kidea) for Gabriel Gelormini, driving for trainer Philippe Allaire and breeder/owner Kevin Tebirent. 6.6/1 Elsa du Pommereux (3f Cokttail Jet-Salsa du Pommereux) piloted by trainer Sylvain Roger for breeder/owner Noel Lolic. 9.3/1 Elegante du Mont (3f Saxo de Vandel-Lacovia) took third for Eric Raffin.
