Our harness racing tipsters have been going okay for a while now but last week they had one of their best weekends since we started the ringaround.
Nine tipsters selected winners which was a great result in itself but it was the dividends that some of them paid that really raised the bar.
John Dunn has bragging rights after a $10:90 collect with Mr Meddle while Robbie Holmes ($8:70), Nathan Williamson ($8:30) and Gavin Smith ($6:60) were others to select winners at good odds.
Throw in a $185 trifecta in the last at Addington (John Dunn, Bob Butt, Ricky May) and the ringaround followers must have had a good night on the punt.
The southerners righted the ship too with a win for once so the challenge now is can they do it this week?
This week there are only three meetings in New Zealand and only seven races at Forbury Park so once again our number of selectors is down.
Three of our regular tipsters are at Melton for the Breeders Crown finals so we have included their selections there.
