With a week off, the handicappers showed some rust last night at Woodbine Racetrack, but by the end of the evening, Bobby Z managed a convincing win in leg sixty of HANA Harness' The Pen vs. The Chip Handicapping Challenge sponsored by the Hambletonian Society, Meadowlands, Tioga Downs, and Vernon Downs by earning a winning ROI of 1.771 (grossing $42.50) with his win selections.

Scott Alberg finished second with a ROI of 1.296 (31.10) almost $10 ahead of third place finisher Earl the Pearl (0.913, $21.90). Both Bobby Z and Alberg had five winners on the twelve race program while Earl took the show spot with three winners.

The handicappers had a tougher evening with respect to the unofficial Exacta key competition as none of the eight players managed to finish above the water line. But by the end of the evening, Pandy made the most of his one winning exacta play to take the win position with a ROI of 0.970 grossing $44.60, a mere $1.40 away from the breakeven point.

Scott Alberg, with his two exacta hits, finished second with a ROI of 0.910 grossing $38.20, followed by Earl the Pearl and Ray’s Robot as they managed a dead heat for show with a ROI of 0.776 ($32.60).
