Franck Nivard was reunited today at Paris-Vincennes with Bold Eagle (5m Ready Cash-Reethi Rah Jet) and it produced a length victory in a rated 1.13.8kr (soft fractions 1.17kr at 1500 meters to go; 1.14.9kr at 1000 remaining, 1.15.1kr at the 500) over the harness racing classic 2700 meter grande piste.
Off at 1/10 odds, Bold Eagle recorded his 26th win in 30 career starts, now for earnings of €2,002,300, in the Gr. II Prix Jockey (purse €120,000, 2700 meters, eight starters).
Bold Eagle was away on the lead, yielded and then retook for the balance.
Sebastian Guarato trains the winner for owner Pierre Pilarski and Jean-Etienne Dubois was the breeder of Bold Eagle.

Third was 18/1 Bolero Love (5m Love You-Orelady) for Gabriel Gelormini, trainer Guarato and owner Franck Amar. 44/1 odds Billie de Montfort (5f Jasmin de Flore-Quismy de Montfort) was fourth after a peg hugging journey for David Thomain, trainer Guarato and breeder/owner Philippe Dauphin. 50/1 Beau Gamin was fifth for Eric Raffin, who had driven the race winner in his prior endeavor.
