If you’re looking for a potential harness racing star to race and later breed from, then Lot 21 at next month’s yearling sale could fit the bill.

Part of the stellar Breckon Farms team, the filly will enter the ring at the Australasian Classic Yearling Sale.

The Shaky Isles’ premier sale, this year’s edition is scheduled to be held at Karaka in Auckland on Monday, February 16.

By boom sire Bettors Delight, the youngster – named Marbelous - is from good producer, Anam Cara, which hales from a family overflowing with ‘black type’ performers.

Anam Cara is a half-sister to five winners, including Black Maire, the dam of Multiple Group One winner and $650,000 earner Lauraella.

The family also includes Stunin Cullen, Il Vicolo, Gotta Go Cullen, Smooth Falcon, Reba Lord, The Unicorn, Keayang Cullen, Sovereign Hill, Katy Perry, Macha, Arden Rooney, Dartmoor, Coastal and Pacific Flight.

Now that’s a clan with success in its bloodlines!
