Sand Shooter followed live cover down the backstretch, was last to reach the front on turn two, drew clear entering the lane and jogged home as the easiest kind of winner.

Art Official lost his cover and was left first-over on turn two, mounded a mild challenge near three-quarters, and was no threat to a convincing winner.

Daley Deposit Only reached the lead just before the half, yielded readily to the favorite’s move, tracked that one to the lane and finished evenly.

Dontloseyourdayjob was parked a long way before reaching the lead, got shuffled a bit in an active middle half, and came again late with good pace off a rough trip.

Legacy N Diamonds left hard from the nine-hole, yielded to Dontloseyourdayjob immediately, got a bit of a shuffle and finished with solid pace to take the last check.

Dragoon K got away last, stayed inside, and closed relatively well from a tough spot. BROTHER RAY dropped in early, skimmed the cones and passed tiring foes late.

Dragon King was off slowly from the inside, and offered little.

Uppfront Hannahsboy made two-moves to the front early, yielded to a longshot before the half, and faded badly.

In Ethan's Honor left alertly to get the four hole, ended up with a golden second-over trip following the middle half action, gapped his cover and tired.

Fractions: 27 54-4/5 1.22-2/5 1.51-2/5

Sand Shooter is owned by Bill G Sanders of Stevenson, AL, trained by Jim Arledge, Jr., and driven by David Miller.
