Briefly set a lifetime mark in winning her first local feature on Sunday afternoon at Saratoga. Leading harness racing driver Billy Dobson piloted the five year old mare for the first time and sat patiently in a first half that went in a sizzling :54.3.

Briefly made her move heading to three quarters and got by the front running Camphor Hanover (Jim Devaux) in the stretch to record her career best 1:53.3 win in the $19,795 feature for pacing mares.

Briefly won for the sixth time of the season but none bigger than the victory she secured on Sunday afternoon.

She is owned by the Upland Farm of Wilbraham, MA and trained by Don Guidette Jr. Lillywhites (Mike Kimelman) closed for second while Camphor Hanover held on for third.

Live racing resumes on Wednesday evening with a first post time of 7:05pm.
