WASHINGTON, PA, Feb. 10, 2021 — Camera Lady powered to he top at the three-eighths and drew off from there to score a comfortable harness racing win in Wednesday's feature at The Meadows, a $9,400 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.
Once Camera Lady reached the point for Ronnie Wrenn, Jr., the race for win was effectively over, as the 7-year-old daughter of Dragon Again-Ann Van Gogh widened her lead through the back half. The 4-5 favorite triumphed in 1:54.2 over a "good" surface, 3 lengths better than Circle The Page. All Day Sunshine saw her four-race winning streak snapped, finishing third from post 9.
Ron Burke trains Camera Lady, who lifted her career earnings to $530,627, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.
Dave Palone and Jim Pantaleano each piloted four winners on the 13-race card; Pantaleano's haul lifted his career total to 7,999.
Live racing at The Meadows continues Thursday when the 13-race program features a $6,127.17 carryover in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 12:45 PM.
