August 19, 2017 - Romme, Borlänge, Sweden hosted the V75 Gold and two E3 Gr. I International Finals on Saturday. The V75 Gold with 150,000SEK to the winner went to 18/1 Order To Fly (7g Order by Fax-Too Fat To Fly-Flying Irishman) with trainer Per Lennartson aboard. Charrua Forlan was second for trainer/driver Hans Owe Sundberg and third was Beppe Am with Kenneth Haugstad driving for Roger Walmann. Race time was 1.12.6kr.

The three year-old fillies contested the E3 Final (Gr. I International, purse to winner 925,000SEK, 1640 meters autostart, 11 filly starters) with victory earned by 6.3/1 Calamara’s Girl (3f Raja Mirchi-Calamara Donna-Pine Chip) timed in 1.11.4kr for driver Erik Adielsson and trainer Svante Bath. This one rallied past White Lightning (3f Maharajah-Mountain Dew-Fast Photo) with Jorgen Westholm aboard. Bellatrix Zet (3f Hard Livin-Kentucky Kery-Diesel Don) took the third check for the Orjan Kihlstrom, Daniel Reden, Stall Zet team.

The companion E3 Final for the colts (Gr. I International, 925,000SEK first money, 1640 meters autostart) went to 33.4/1 odds and 1.11.8kr timed Capitol Hill (3g Muscle Hill-Dreamalittledream-Kadabra), also a Svante Bath trainee and piloted by Ulf Ohlsson. Stall Concho HB and AB Corpus Christi share ownership. 15/1 Twist of Fate (3m SJs Caviar-Daniela Ara-Kadabra) was next for trainer/driver Pekka Korpi. Third was 5/1 Van Kronos (3f Timoko-Mythical Kronos-Yankee Glide) for the Adielsson/Bath combination.
