Goshen, NY – Visit the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main Street, Goshen, NY on Sunday, December 9th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm for a presentation and activities related to understanding the effects of winter weather on horses and other animals exposed to the elements. Participate in experiments which demonstrate the stress that cold wet weather may impose on animals and humans alike. To add to the fun, bring your favorite model horse and have fun making a felt horse blanket of your own design! All materials will be provided. The cost is $5 and free to current Scout, 4-H and Pony Club members. Registration required by December 6th. This program is made possible by the New York State Agriculture & Horse Development Fund.
